Pilgrim is an extended family of Christ for your family. We seek fellowship, service and learning through Christ-centered family activities, Bible studies, worship and other church events.
Our purpose is simple: to worship God, grow in His Word and to share His Word and the Good News of Jesus Christ with those in the Bellevue/Omaha community. We are all on a spiritual journey, a "pilgrimage", to know our Lord and the plans that He has for us.
We extend a warm invitation to come worship with us!
There will be a special Voter's meeting held on August 24th, following the 8 a.m. service, to review the option of leasing a piece of our property.
SBA Towers has made a proposal to place a cell tower on our property. They have determined that this is a good location in this part of Bellevue for a much needed tower. They will take care of all the legal matters and landscaping around the tower. It will be 100' tower occupying a 60'x60' pice of land. Currently they are looking at placing it at the front prat of our property on the corner of Fairview and 22nd street, near the entrance to Pilgrim off 22nd.
The rent for the cell tower will be $800 a month in 5 year increments, renewable up to 50 years. Once construction begins $5000 bonus will be paid out to Pilgrim.
This meeting will allow for the comments and concerns of the congregation to be addressed and a vote to be taken regarding this lease.
It is in the opinion of the COM that Pilgrim congregation approves this approves this proposal and the monies earned from the lease should be frist applied directly to the morta then applied to the Being Built Together Fund.
Please feel free to contact me at Robert_Gilbert@cox.net with any concerns or comments.
